lurk.me: Community Guidelines

lurk.me is meant to be simple, creative, and safe.

These Community Guidelines explain what is not allowed on the platform. They work alongside our Terms of Service and other policies.

1. Follow the Law

Do not use lurk.me for anything illegal.

That includes using the service to publish, promote, organize, or profit from illegal activity.

2. Respect Other People's Rights

Do not post content that violates someone else's rights.

This includes:

  • copyright infringement,
  • trademark misuse,
  • impersonation,
  • privacy violations,
  • sharing personal information without permission.

If you do not own the content or do not have permission to use it, do not upload it.

3. No Harassment or Abuse

Do not:

  • harass, bully, threaten, or stalk people,
  • encourage targeted abuse,
  • post content meant to intimidate or shame people,
  • dox or expose someone's private information,
  • impersonate another person in a misleading or harmful way.

4. No Sexual Exploitation

Do not post, share, request, or promote:

  • child sexual abuse material,
  • sexual exploitation of minors,
  • grooming content,
  • non-consensual intimate imagery,
  • content that sexually exploits or endangers others.

If we become aware of this kind of content, we may remove it immediately and report it where required.

5. No Fraud, Scams, or Deceptive Behavior

Do not use lurk.me to:

  • scam people,
  • phish for passwords or payment information,
  • run fake giveaways,
  • impersonate brands or support staff,
  • spread malicious links or deceptive downloads.

6. No Malware or Platform Abuse

Do not:

  • upload malware or harmful code,
  • interfere with the service,
  • overload systems,
  • abuse automation,
  • scrape data without permission,
  • evade restrictions or enforcement.

7. No Violent or Dangerous Use

Do not use lurk.me to promote serious violence, credible threats, or dangerous illegal conduct.

8. We May Take Action

If content or behavior breaks our rules, we may:

  • remove content,
  • limit visibility,
  • disable features,
  • warn the user,
  • suspend the account,
  • terminate the account,
  • preserve evidence,
  • report the matter to authorities or affected parties where required or appropriate.

We may act quickly when we believe it is necessary to protect users, rights holders, or the platform.

If you see content or behavior that may violate these rules, report it to support@inicial.co.

If your report is about copyright, use dmca@inicial.co instead.

10. Changes

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time by posting the latest version here.
